bouncy ball in door

another problem iv had for a while now but while im in a sort it mood might as well ask! is that if you send up or down my ps electric window, about half way you can hear a noise like a bouncy ball bouncing!!! any ideas???

also while im at it my gearbox crunches sometimes when i select reverse, i know it says d press the clutch for three secs before selecting reverse in the manual but it still does it! the only way i have found around it is to select another gear first then try reverse

Didnt u see the addendum to the owners manual?

Field Remedy BS101 - Says if crunching in reverse, select forward gear first...
that way we can get out of another warranty job

did you ever find a fix for the bouncing ball sound? I hav a signum an also hear a sound which is as if somethings wobbling around somewhere.

Took it to vauxhall in the end and they ended up fitting a new window lift unit! under warranty :)
