Hi mate

Yours will be the None Direct ( Multi Point Fuel Injection ) Model 2004 on is Direct :thumb:

They do a lot for the 2.2 mate on the regal site all depends on how deep your pockets are. Including a turbo conversion

2.4 inlet manifold is the least expensive option, but its not cheap

Also you could go the route of a 2.4 Throttle Body as well as a 2.0 Supercharged Throttle body and have it all tied in with a remap :thumb:

oh yay finally i've bought a car that doesn't basically need an engine replacement to increase the power output most of my cars iv previously had was a case of a new block :( ok does any1 have any links to places with prices/ power increases etc as im keen to turn it up a bit i've been told my car is 150 bhp and i'd kinda like to up it to around the 200 bhp mark if possible.

Cat back, sports cat, Piper or Dbilas zorst manifold, custom down pipe (landrover one works) cams, 2.0SC TB (2.4 doesn't work) balancer shaft deletion and a 2.4 inlet manifold all tied in with a map should see you over 200bhp and yes that all adds up to alot of cash :( So whats that, about £1500 minimum for 50hp. TBH mate its not really worth it, your also going to want to insure your hard work with a new chain kit fitted so say £400 on top of your mods. With enough money you can do what you want, and in the VX220 and Astra's a tuned 2.2 is a bit of a weapon but in the heavy Vec it doesn't really do the engine justice IMO.
