Got one for fathers day from the bairns and got to say it is quite good, no spotting on the paitwork when used but the glass still tends to need drying properly.

Just don't polish afterwards with a cloth that is not lint-free. The static caused by the Flash shampoo/de ionized water thingy will make it stick to the car like sh*t to a shovel! I bought one thinking it might be handy for the drying mark free finish. It's now confined to the shed.

It seems to be the shampoo that causes the stickyness, Its good in the winter, or when you are lazy.

but it makes it a pain to polish later because of the sticky layer it leaves.

I tend to use the water ioniser after meguires shampoo and a water rinse, as it buys you time and does exactly the same as the Flash Shampoo - it still beads and dries without streaking.

Yeah i found this too with my normal shampoo but seen in another thread a water ioniser that cost about 40 quid

I've got one I absolutely love it. I dont bother with the supplied shampoo - I water down Megs NXT at 30% shampoo, 70% water. I then use a bucket of clear water for rinsing my mitt in. I dont bother with the ioniser - costs too much money to change. But for ease of use I think its great!

I do a similar thing. Use Megs instead of the Flash stuff as its far better.
I also use the ioniser and think its great, though you only get a couple of washes to a cartridge.
