folding mirrors

I have the 1.8sxi veccy c with electric mirrors and i have changed the electric mirror switch to the one with the folding mirror function, plugged it in and the mirrors still do not fold. i wondered if it was just a case of plugging some wires in somewhere else or having to change or add some motors to the mirrors. Can anyone help please.
