Hey guys, what with the recent spell of warm weather I have been using the air-con. I noticed that when stationary I can feel a throbbing through the front seats, obviously something to do with the air-con as only when it's on. Does anyone else experience this and is it normal?
I have a 2005 2.2 direct SRI.
Thanks in advance for any help, and congratulations on such a top website.
Paul.

Mine never used to, spent a week with Vx, and now it does. I don't feel left out anymore!!
It's probably because it's working bluddy hard at the moment to give you some cool air, and probably shouldn't be a cause for too much concern.

That'll be the engine changing revs to accomodate the draw on power for the AC.

Yeah if I'm sitting stationary just after starting up and switch on AC it'll kind of rumble and lose power, almost similar to when you engage too high a gear, and the rev needle with shake down a bit! Naughty AC stealing engine power!
