Hi, i have just acquired a Pipercross Viper induction kit that has come off a MG ZS 180 with the 2.5 V6 engine and don't know if i will have any issues in fitting to my Vectra.
My motor is a 3.2 GSi and one of the main reasons i brought this filter is due to the 90 degree bend that will fit to the airflow meter.

Any advice or suggestions would be greatly received.
I have also uploaded a pic.

that'll fit fine make and probably easier with the 90 degree bend already on it

As long as the internal diameter isn't smaller than your MAF then you will be fine, if its smaller you could actually be restricting the flow.

Internal diameter is 70mm and the MAF is about 75mm, most induction kits out there have a 70mm outlet so i just need a silicone reducer to fit. Not bad though really for £66.

Not a bad price at all mate but your still going to be restricting the intake, your going to get no benefits at all, more than likely your going to be holding back at the top end.

Well a slight update, the silicone hose that i ordered turned up yesterday so i thought id see if it would fit. The answer is yes/no, turns out that the diameter of the airflow meter is 80mm (what size hose i ordered and got) but not thinking before i ordered it turns out the diameter of the throttle body is just over 70mm (DOH).
Oh well, thats more money to fork out.

Just try clamping it real tight.

I went for the K&N apollo. Got it dirt cheap.

Heres a pic of my install.

Just try clamping it real tight.

And there is some pipes that restrict in size. At least in aus there us. So look for a 80-70mm

Good luck!

Going to get some reducers, need 1 for filter to airflow meter side and another one the same for airflow to throttle body side:(.
