Having had Cavaliers years ago , and reading about some of the rare ones I was just wondering about the early Vectra C Ls. They came with loads of extras like indirect lighting auto wipers door red lights etc..............will these become saught after a few years down the road ?

Dam well hope so! my vec C has just about everything in it you could get at the time.
I would lose so much stuff by changing for a newer one its almost not worth it.

But sadly I doubt they will be sought after but should make selling it easier.

Thats what I was thinking "CYB" , mines only an LS and has loads of extras ,while seeing some newer models that have none or very few extras mine has as standard . There will come a time when I will have no choice but to sell , but really LOVE my car and need to keep at least another year .

Wifey thinks Im obsessed by the thing !

I had a face-lift (1999) Vectra B LS ... it had electric sunroof, alloys, CDR 500, electric front windows full body skirts .... great buy

I now have a 54 Reg Vectra C Elite ... phew I have a 2004 model which had indirect night lighting and auto wipers as standard !

whats indirect night lighting, is that where the headlights and reversing light come on as you leave the car???????????I DO FEEL LIKE A BLONDE SOMETIMES - lol

Indirect Night Lighting is when a small orange light switches on from under the rear view mirror and shines on the gear stick when it gets dark (nice feature, but have to pay for it on 2005 model elite)

You may be referring to Home Light .. flick the stalk and the healdights and rear lights come on for a period of time.

My LS being one of the 1st has loads of extras including indirect lighting . Lights up my fluffy dice hanging on mirror . ;)

cheers denzo, my last vec c had indirect lightinng then but to be honest i havent noticed it on my newer vec

IIRC the 05 models don't get a cover over the cup holder or the 7th speaker in the dash either.

i had a 52 plate elegance and that had everything on it, now on my 54 plate sri and they have dropped the spec somewhat, no indirect night light and no rain sensing wipers and no split armrest in the back! when look for my car saw an ls with out the centre armrest in the front! nasty
