The roads are fantastic to drive on for a start. The trip there and back is like the cannon ball run, every exotic you can think of flying past well into triple figures. You'll soon realise when you get there that there are no french, only english. Last time i went was when bentley won.

Its one big dust bowl, give it half a day and all cars are dirty and look uncared for.

I was there as a marshal on the second chicane. It was brilliant. I strongly advise not speeding on the motorways down there. The French take a very dim view on speeding and are out in force for the week of LeMans. I saw no less than 8 cars pulled on the motorway when I was driving back on Monday.

Also I'm told on the toll motorways they now have average speed check capabilities between the toll booths based on the ticket you take when you enter the motorway.

was great bit could do with sleep as never stept in a tent. the hola shirts were the man in charges idea they do it every year. vectra was superb bit thirty at 100 mph but was happy.but dog was miserable when got back realised how crud our roads are. sorry about the pic quality just my phone

yes the corvette was amazing noise easily the best with the gt40's. would loved to have heard the audi tdi but like you heard there was no real noise
