Hi Im Thinking Of Buying A Ipod And The Dension Link

And Just Wondered If This Was The Best Option All I Want Is Mp3s In The Car At Th Best Quality Now Ive Never Heard The Quality Of The Dension Link Is It Any Good

I have the alpine 9850i with the ipod link, its deffo the way forward, I have over 900 songs on mine, constantly on shuffle.

As for the dension, I am unsure, but the name gives off good vibes :)

hi yeh ive heard people talking about it
but the other thing is id prefer to keep the standard stereo as ive had alot of missfurtune with aftermarket stereos and f***ing theifs

I had a dension but got rid after a few months and got an Alpine 9850Ri. You don't get any interference with the Dension, but you do get quite a bit of hiss. The general sound quality of a proper head unit like the Alpine is MUCH better than a CD30 whether you're listening to the ipod or not.

Totally agree with the above. CD30 Isn't anywhere near as clear or powerfull as the Alpine.

maybe bu the theifs are proper ***** wher i am ive jus tgot rid of my las ca a is 200 because i was fed up with the chavs playing football against and even with cat 1 alarm they stole the stereo out of it 3 time in 4 weeks even with alarm going off then waittill u run towards them then they drive off on there of road bikes waving the stereo at u it realy ****es u off so as much as i dont like it id prefer to stick to the standard stereo than having to have windos replaced ev er 2 weeks

i had the dension fm for about 2 months and didnt like it there was a lot of background noise and sometimes the stereo kept trying to search for another frequency, and keep taking the ipod in and out of the car was getting on my nerves. as with a lot of people on here i bought the alpine 9850i and i have to say oh my god what a difference the sound quality is much more clearer u hardly have to touch the volume and it increases lots, plus there is the ability to control the ipod fully. now i just keep the ipod in the glove box with no need taking it out. i was one of these people that wanted to keep the standard look of the stereo but now i wish i bought the alpine first. i would definitly go down this route.
