i have a 2.2 sri 52 reg.just got my self a cone filter.is the airbox easy to take out?and if any one has fitted a cone filter which many of you probably have have they noticed a change in power or noise.cheers boys for any information as i am gonna do it tomorra night. :)

i think its quite easy but i only took the top off mine to fit my panel filter.
the top is just some screws, unplug the air sensor and undo the clips if i remember rightly

Mines the 2.0T with the airbox on the nottom left hand side there are no screws holding it in you can just disconnect the air sensor and gentle ease/tug it out its on rubber grommet things.
