just put my cone filter on

just put cone filter on.took me about five minutes.airbox just pulled out and bolted filter on.left pipe that goes along the front of the engine bay and left pipe angled next to filter so it can get cold air.now just took it round block and i do not know if its just me or that it feels slower.and the noise is very loud,and i am not too sure if i like it that loud.i am worrying i am turning into an old fart.has any body else felt the same as me about power loss or is it just in my mind.could i have to and get it the car set up due to the greater intake of air?

Funnily enough, I had the same conversation with Drinky when we put mine on my Astra - and whatever he says, I swear blind that it's slightly slower from a standstill. However, it is better mid - range - (and you ARE turning into an old fart - the noise is GREAT!!) lol!

Some vehicles do need remapping to compensate for the extra air getting in though.

thanx for calling me an old fart ha ha.just took it for a blast up motorway and it seems a lot better and seems smoother in accelration..and as for the noise i love it now.so that must mean i am not an old fart.
