Hi all Just picked up my veccy C GSi yesterday, its ultra blue on a 53 plate and i'm really happy with it, the only thing is... when it idles whether it be cold or warm, i feel that there is a very very slight misfire/blip, sort of like a murmur every now and again. On acceleration its so smooth but its just ths idling problem that bugs me. I mean my old car was a 2.5 V6 veccy B, that was 8 years old and that idle purrrfectly.
Anyone else experience this 'Murmur', do i take it to the garage, or just live with it??

Cheers Big Phil, i think i will, it does me head in, i was thinking to myself surely a £20,000 car shouldn't idle like this. I bought it from a Vauxhall dealer, so its covered by the Network Q guarantee, the sales man told me that the Network Q cover was equivalent to the first years vauxhall warranty cover, apparently years 2 & 3 on the Manufacture's warranty don't cover you for much. No doubt they will just plug it to the tech 2, but it won't show any codes because the engine light hasn't been on. Hope they can sort it.

Mine does exactly that, runs nice and smooth but the idle is noticably lumpy. Ringing VX tomorrow.

Mine is very sweet on tickover cold or hot - if only the gearbox was as sweet!!
Get it sorted while under warranty!
