Vauxalls own brand oil

OIL :( well my motors long overdue its been 16000 rather hard miles since the last service for the 1.8 and it needs new oil like 5000miles ago. now does anyone know how good vaux's own oil is ive been quoted by my local stealer £25 inc vat for the oil and filter. i just wanted to know if its a good idea or should i go for somthing stupidly expensive like castrol edge at about 50ish quid for oil alone?

vauxhalls own brand oil is a top quality oil,better than castrol which is overpriced

Vauxhall oil must be pretty good, i know of a merc main dealer who use it!.
