I'm getting my custom exhaust built at Powerflow and i'm looking to hopefully get quite a bit of noise from it but the guy on the phone said that it can be difficult to achieve much noise from diesel engines. Am I even going to hear any difference volume wise?

It won't sound anything like a petrol with a stainless on. Should be slightly deeper and a bit meatier.

plasma has an MIJ system on his cdti and it roar's like nothing you have heard before..
my cdti has a cat and centre section and quad's and it is a little deeper than normal and the turbo spool's up a little, nothing like plasma's though

Never heard of MIJ, was his expensive? I have had a stainless on an old derv years ago & it never impressed me. It was powerflow also so may have been the reason why.

MIJ is an approved seller on here and many folk have used them...they are pretty well priced and there work is normaly very good, ian-highlander has just had his 2nd system done by them....
mine is a mixture of MIJ - powerflow and euro sport's as i like to play..and it sound's ok, deeper burble on tickover and when you drive it away there is a more deeper note and a nice surbo spool whistle
