3.2 Gsi Exhaust Note

As a relatively new Gsi owner and the owner of a networkq warranty I was wondering if someone could describe the noise their engine makes under acceleration. Mine seems to whistle/wine loudly under hard accerleration and was wondering if this is normal, if not then VX here I come.

Sounds like somethings not right! My GSi sounds great the sound is a deep v6 growl upto 4k then beyond that it is more mechanical and high pitched but never anything other than sweet sounding. The enigne note is not amazing but still fairly inspiring, I would say you should get your checked out.

Hi there bud, well i've only had my Gsi 3 days and the missus has been in most of the time so i've not really had the chance to boot it like i want to, but today for the first time i nipped out on me lunch at work and had a little fun, and yes under harsh acceleration mine makes a whistling/wooshing noise too.

it is peeerrrr fectly normal for a whistle under hard acceleration, mine has always done it ..... it sounds great :D
