induction kit on 1.8vvt

hi all just after some advice would an induction kit make much difference on a 1.8vvt i would like it to sound meaty so would it?

If you use an open cone induction kit you would hear a difference, you may even feel it accelerate smoother but you may also suffer from heat soak where it does not have a cold air feed and just sucks in engine temp air..
