Don't think so m8, Robbieben had his done but it is a 3.0 V6 CDTi. That had no problems but AF did with his.

yeah i heard about Mickys problems :(

Also as you know my car seems to be more tempramental than most so need to make sure it doesnt kill it again   :)

I would imagine the best place for the car would be using VPC but its the most inconvenient for me with being sooo far away :(

I had mine done Steve, it didn't work out, but thats not to say it was Chipped UK's fault..Maybe my car just didn't like it...

This is my worry micky  and due to my location no matter who i use its going to involve a fair amount of travelling, so it has to be done right.

Have you tried Superchips scotland, they are in Falkirk so not too much of a hike !!

Superchips map on the website doesn't give you as good gains as the VPC one.

I had mine done by VPC and it was brilliant :) :D

Very very quick. Mine was full canbus.

My Astra is also done by VPC. Very very quick ;)

Bainie

The easiest way is the sreering wheel, if it is buttons it`s 1/2, the wheels are full ...

I went to VPC and got imobilized, had to have a new ECU and they had to take it to Vx to get it reprogramed because they couldn't get it to work.

Got it going again in the end and let me borrow their car while they were trying. Did get a remap but was unhappy with the lack of torque and power (194bhp/298lbft).

They said they would work on a new map and get back to me but I haven't heard from them for many a month now so I guess that means "your car is too weired, go away!".

Still, the fuel ecconomy on the ramap is good and it is faster. If I want to go hell for leather though I stick the box in again!

So all in all, I'm not too unhappy and not out of pocket because they gave the £500 back until they sorted the map, which they haven't.

Did have to pay for insurance on their car and 3 trips there and back. Plus, their SRI 1.9CDTI was standard and really slow. That was the worst bit of the whole experiance, having to drive their slow mobile until I got mine back.

TBH Nutron i would be very happy with the figures that you got from the VPC anything more would be too much for me and my car due to the miles i do IMO :)

Sounds like you got a good deal then mate, a free remap is always nice even if you had your fair share of problems..

I'm very happy with 213bhp and 354lbft, bit too scary for passengers though, at least, that's what they tell me. :)
