My 2.2 LS (2002) has startred showing the bulb failure light but when i checked all of the bulbs were fine. The passenger side rear fog is not lighting up so i changed the bulb anyway but problem still there. Any ideas?

best to check with both lamp holders out as the warning light is very accurate and a bulb will have gone. dont forget the near side fog bulb is a dummy as there is only 1 fog light.

Already checked every bulb and they are all fine, as for the one foglight I am pretty sure both worked before, I wonder if previous owner bodged the wiring?
Will investigate further later. Thanks guys.

i had this problem a few months ago. it was intermittent. the warning light used to come on when it fancied. it turned out to be a dodgy conncetion in the sidelights in the front. i just took the sidelight out and put it back in and it never happened again....

Interior lights?

I took a car on a test drive from a dealer and the bulb light was on. I asked what it was and was told it covered the interior/boot, and Number plate too.

My Veccy has been into main stealers today for the same fault (only a month old). Started off intermittant and they couldnt find it. Over the weekend it became 'Brakelight' all the time on display along with the failure light. I noticed 2 of the 16 leds in the boot brake light were not working, they have ordered me a new one today :)

Just a wobbly xenon light to cure now (they want the foreman to take the car home 1 night so he can drive it in the dark - i'm not to sure may just wait till clocks go back!)

Must be common, because I had the same, front sidelights. Drove me nuts for ages.

Mine has a habit of occasionally warning me the one of my headlights has failed, usually while I can see its reflection... I think the system is sometimes a little over-sensitive.

Just had mine into vx for sidelight bulb failure even though they were both working they told me it was the element in one of the bulbs had a fracture in it they asked if I wanted them to change the bulb at a cost of £29.72 as they had to strip the unit down and it would take 20 mins needless to say went to halfords bought a pair of bulbs for 3.49 and fitted both within 5 mins. Also car got to go back in as there is an outstanding recall on the alternator, just waiting for a phone call to say they have the part in.
