...are these available for the vecci c? I'd like to improve the feel of the brakes, and I thought braided hoses would be a good way of doing it.
I have searched the net and cant find any for the vectra c..
i foned a few salvage yards today too, for some big front calipers, off a gsi.... only to endup arguing that there is a 3.2 v6 vectra!... he actually started to convince me these isnt a 3.2 lol.
anyway... braided hoses... does anybody know if these available?

Mark (the Cabby) has the only set in the country at the moment. Have a word with him, but I think he had to beg.

Don't forget you'll need the discs to go with the calipers ;)

yes, discs would be good, I do believe there are probs with the design of the braided hoses. I'll try to find out more later.

I would also change the fluid to Dot 5.1 Racing for a better feel. Quite a good improvement :)
Try Courternay.
You keeping it then?

ESP Design should be able to help however it doesn't specify which VX can have the hoses.
http://www.espdesign.co.uk/esp.storefront/EN/Product/62918
But they do brake kits for Vectra C

Abbott Motorsport do the hoses and again I don't know if they'll fit a Vectra C/Signum (still waiting for an email back)

Make you own. Take an existing hose to a hydraulic hose company (Pertek possibly). Ask to speak to one of the tech's and then ask him if he'll make a couple up for you if you buy the parts and offer him some beer money.
Worked for me on my little Ibiza :D
Alternatively if you know the size of fittings, buy a length of braided hose and fittings from demon tweaks and make them up yourself.

 Yes they are available. Have a look at www.goodridge.co.uk (http://www.goodridge.co.uk)
They list braided hoses for the Vec C - Standard fittings are £54.00, with stainless steel fittings they are £63.40.
Have used these hoses on a previous motor and they were good.

Cheers sonic.
one thing tho the lines are listed on the goodridge.co.uk website, but not on the official goodridge site... might call them to make doubly sure.
anyone ordered anything from goodridge.co.uk k300 before?

Haven't ordered any for Vectra C but I have had Goodridge hoses before they gave a good service and good kit, there was a definite improvement in pedal feel. And they look nice and trick.
