Exhaust Question

Can anyone tell me if this exhaust will fit a 2.2 Direct SRi.

I emailed them to ask, and they say the 3.2 and 2.2 share the same part number but he's not 100% sure. :confused: Can anyone confirm this ?

MIJ have done loads of cars on here with their custom exhausts. I am suprised they are being a bit vauge with your question.

If you can find the time, get the car booked in and let them do the fitting for you. When i had mine done, fitting and the twin box was less than price than advertised on ebay, and i think they still do Vec-C Members discount.

With what you save on postage and the auction price, it will probably pay for at least half of the fuel to get there!

The other bonus is, you can see their full range of Tailpipe ends, and choose there and then what you like best.

Sitting here at the Midlands Exhaust in Birmingham waiting for my full stainless steel system (including cat) to be ready, £420 all in... The service is great and is all looking great so far...

Now to answer the question, I've emailed MIJ a while back with the very same question but for a 1.8 SRi and they confirmed that itvwould indeed fit, as they custom make their system.

I have just been to Vauxhall to get them to check on their parts list. They tell me the rear boxes are the same for the 3.2 & 2.2, but the centre sections are different. So I don't think I will risk buying this......:noidea:

Went with the Scorpion system in the end. Really pleased with the result, just need to get used to the sound :whoo:
