The reason for that is basically this....

The site is aimed at Vec C/Signum owners. Whilst there is no problem as such with a non Vec C/Signum owner signing up, as they may very well be about to be a Vec C/Signum owner, there are a few limitations applied to such users. One of them being that they can't post in certain sections, the meets section being one of them.

Hopefully that will explain things a bit?
