I have dug out a photo of the car when I got it, a standard SRi as vauxhall made it for my avator. I think it looks as good as it does a grand later !! Is it just me or do they look hot standard. I think I am going into the loft for the original grille again !

Yeah looks really good in the pics.
19's is the way to go...u think the ride will be affected with the low profiles?
Deffo have to agree with Andy.......better modified..but still loved std :D

I blagged a shot of a gsi demo with 19"s and the ride was no different imo to the 17"s maybe a shade noisier. I took it over some bumpy roads as well. I like the standard ones but they are a ***** to keep clean.
I think better modified certainly the rear as it looks a bit naff standard. though in dark colours black ultra blue they do look good standars also.
I reckon i'll go for 19"s when i get new alloys i like the irmscher gt star
very nice me thinks :) :)

£1329 + tyreson top so not cheap :( :(
Other ones i like are the evostar as fitted to i500 but in smaller 18" form again £1093 for a set though.
Couple of places give 20% discount to vauxhallsportscarclub members so might save up
EVOSTAR

that wasn't the new vxr .. that was the i500 .. loverly ... but the bigger the rims , don't you think that the brake discs look a little on the small side ??? i know they're 308 mm but never the less on 20''s looking a little smalll IMO lol

With the Signum the side sills are a must for a light colour car, otherwise looks line a dodgem. But then why not go the whole hog. Suppose the best mod todate is being lowered. Looks minted in my view. I too need wheels, and vertainly CYB's are  but wes the missus thinks we already have wheels, and the wallet not thick enough yet. Maybe next season.
