Decided to remove my LS badges from the sides of the car at the weekend...
Got the drivers side one off no problem... glue came straight off and poilshed up great...
Put my finger nail under the passenger side one and it felt better stuck than the other but didn't think anything of just flicked the badge off.... it left some glue behind so as before I went to rub it off with my finger....  The glue was absolutley rock hard, feels like superglue..... some d1ckhead that had the car before must have noticed that the badge was falling off and has decided that they would stick it back on with f00kin superglue!!!
Any ideas how I can get it off without damaging the paint???
This is what is looks like(not a good pic as its taken with my phone)..

If you're certain it's Superglue, what about the Superglue removers you can buy in stationers etc? Although I have no idea if they react with the paint.
What about getting hold of some of the remover and testing it on a bit of paint that is hidden away? Somewhere like the spare wheel compartment? Test it on a bit of paint there, if it marks it then no big deal.

I didn't realise there was such a thing.... I presume somewhere like Staples will stock it?
Thanks for the help Duncan! :)

Yep, Staples, WH Smiths etc should have it, or DIY places if you have no joy there. The one I have/had was a small bottle with a little brush in the cap - like a nail polish. Just brush it one, leave it to work in a bit and then the glue will be softened up.
Let us know how you get on.

If that doesn't work, you should be able to chip the superglue off with something... with it no being a solvent glue it should just be 'sitting' on the surface.... your a braver man than me if you try, but it is an option.

Yep - superglue remover will work but as Duncan said check to make sure it doesnt effect paint!
We use it at work but you tend to have to let it 'soak' for a long time before it disolves the superglue

As everyone else has said.
Obviously, as a last resort, there's your local chipsaway guy. Be able to sand it off and respray! ;)
