Yup, BSR remap will take you to over 215bhp

lol @ Jamie

BSR remap (what I have) - info here (http://www.vectra-c.com/forum/showthread.php?t=205).

Abbott (http://www.abbottracing.com/2003/tuning/n9-3/engine/n9-3_eng_mgnt.htm) remap - about £100 less but can't be reprogrammed and removed yourself like the BSR one.

I'm currently running 217bhp and 249lbft to give you an idea of figures.

All in the posts and links. :) But yes, in a nutshell you're looking at hundreds. BSR is around £550, Abbot is £450. A good quality remap doesn't come cheaply!

....and I would recommend if you're gonna do it then pay for the best and get the BSR. The old addage of 'you get what you pay for'. Let us know how you proceed.

You don't 'need' any other stuff. You can fit an induction kit (not sure what it will do on that engine with the remap), I did fit a boost gauge but again you don't need to. With the BSR unit the remapping is a doddle. Plug the unit into the socket under the ashtray, press a couple of buttons and leave it to program - takes less than 10 minutes.

Having a 2.2 petrol is no fun. I want toys like you CDTI and turbo boys!
