just sent bsr sweden an email to see if they plan on doing any further stages for the 2.0t engine.on the site i did notice they now do a stainless exhaust system, don't now the exact cost but it'll probably be as much as the remap  .i know abbot racing are doing a package but this is quite expensive, and as i already have the bsr i would be loathed to junk it compleatly and start again.anyway i'll wait and see what responce i get from bsr.

Yep, the SS exhaust was basically what gave you Stage 2 (on the Saab 9-3SS) along with a different air filter iirc (and maybe a different map) - it only gave a few horses more so certainly wasn't worth it. I think that's why they dropped it. You'll see there is no Stage 2 listed for the 9-3SS any longer.

I'm waiting for them to do Stage 3 for the Vx/Opel varient as the Saab 9-3SS already has Stage 5!!! Stage 3 is 240+bhp - oh yes please!! :D :D

Same sort of reply I got when I e-mailed them earlier in the year. WIsh they'd just pull their fingers out and release it for the Opel/Vx variant. They have all the basic stuff they need as they've done it on the Saab variant! :(

why are BSR still living in the dark ages and only doing things for petrol engines?

why don't they look towards the future and do some stuff for us diesel owners! they've done something for the volvo D5 engine but i can't find anything for vauxhalls

Its about what the market wants ...
And as BSR is a Swedish company and the dieselmarket is much
smaller in Sweden then the rest of Europe this will be seen in
their productrange.

what you're saying sounds right TechWolf

is the only reason they do a volvo D5 performance upgrade is because they are a swedish manufacturer, likewise for Saab?

i'm not sure how much trade BSR do in the UK or the rest of Europe, but surely the fact that sales of diesel cars are outnumbering those of petrol cars would give a very clear indication on how things are heading, and they would take necessary steps in order to accomodate that.

there's little point in supplying just what the market needs at this very moment in time, you've got to look ahead aswell.

Any reason why the diesel market is smaller in sweden? is petrol so cheap?

Its because of the taxes on dieselcars ....
