Airbag light

I recently changed my interior. I now have the airbag light on permanantly. If the wiring under the front seats has been disconnected for some time, will the airbag light need resetting at the main dealers? I have tried everything else, all the connections appear to be ok. Help :confused:

Last time I accidently :whistle: disconnected an air bag, the car reset itself. :)
