I'm a huge Tom Clancy fan..... I've read the whole 'Jack Ryan' series (i.e. Hunt for Red October, Clear and Present Danger etc) about 4 times now. Also like Douglas Reeman and Clive Cussler.
I'm reading Archangel byr Robert Harris at the moment (It was dramatised by the BBC a few months ago) Its a cracking book.

I like military non-fiction, especially biographies. Just finished 'Chickenhawk'. About a US helicopter pilot in Vietnam. Stunning book.

Yeah, and I love the way they taught them how to fly choppers... try and keep it within the bounds of a field, then just use smaller fields!
Scary stuff tho.

the only books i tend to read or more precisely look at the pictures are ones of old photos of middlesbrough and the north east. Ifind it really interesting looking at places 100 years ago and looking at them now hence ive started a project of finding the places in my books and going there and taking b&w photos at the same angles and comparing them

I love a bit of action and mystery - Lee Child's Jack Reacher books are excellent - also read all the Dan Brown books - Da vinci Code, Angels and Demons etc. I read avidly, all the time!

I am currently reading my second Dan Brown. Read a few others in the past,
Clancy - largely overrated, IMO, waffles on and failed to really captivate me, stories a bit bland with very slow plot and character progression, so haven't bothered with him recently.
