IF your car has been regularly serviced then there is no point in using an engine flush, would only use one if there was a known problem.

Have known a few engines to be damaged with the wrong use of engine flush too.

If you really want you could double flush the engine oil, that will help remove carbon and won't cause unnecessary engine wear.

Going off topic but most dealers wont be able to diagnose faults with a laptop due to not being able to read the data correctly, DTC's are only half the information, theres more to finding a fault to reading a code on a screen

I was'nt being funny about mechanics, just stating the diffrence between techies and mechanics. Ive had 20 years on the spanners and don't want to be sat behind a desk, I love my job it's intresting and always a chalenge!!! as you can see from my spelling i'm not that good with paper work lol

thats ok! but there are a lot of bad peeps out there, I would never use a dealer after my last experiance with them, when it went in for the hand brake recall, it came out with grease all over the switch gear! and they said I must of put it there! for pittys sake i'd just come straight from my best mates mums funaral! and I was in a suit and tie!!!! I made them clean the car in front of the showroom whislt the customers were sat ordering there new cars! I gave the service manger and the techie a right dressing down over it! they even gave it a "FREE HEALTH CHECK" and said everything was ok! but i'd told them that i'd serviced it 300 miles before hand
