Told I had to change my password

In all the years I've been coming here a message appeared forcing me to change it. That's the first time that's happened.

Hopefully genuine and the forum hasn't been hacked?

Fair enough, so I did

Today I got a 'your password is 3 days old and needs updating' - Hmmm

I changed my new password with the old password

funnily enough today i had to change it again...a 2 day old password! must be a glitch, I'd reconsile the database and reboot the server afterwards... that should stop this from happening

we've been getting a lot of hacked accounts lately due to weak / poor passwords causing spam. So I forced users to change passwords. Have turned that setting off now so no more prompts, anyone with a weak password who gets hacked using a rainbow table will be put into the banned group until they contact admin
