    Default 2.0dti wont start....

    My car has been off the road for the last 2 weeks,due to a problem with the aux belt tensioner bracket had to fit a new one cus the threads where cream crackered...

    Anyway did the job finally today,and now the car wont start,its been stuck with its nose in the air on axle stand for 2 weeks wondering if somehow thats the cause..
    Anybody got any ideas i'm stuck,no wires other than the maf connection as far as i'm aware havent bin touched.

    Wonder if the diesel has drained back into the tank care of gravity

    A tow start should get it going.

    Best way is to remove the fuel filter and make sure it's full of fresh diesel, then replace. Try starting then. If no luck, then crack open an injector bolt, get someone to crank the engine, until diesel flows out the injector slowly. Then tighten the injector and try to start again. If all else fails, tow start it

    as tony says , crack off the 17mm injector nuts in turn and crank till they spill diesel , should strike up 1st turn once all 4 are bled

    Still no joy with this.had all the injector nuts cracked and there's no Diesel coming from any of them,the filter was full of fuel at the time,anyway bought some Easy start sprayed it into air inlet ?is that correct and it made a few noises and didn't exactly spring into life. I'm worried about the pump being ran in a dry state so backed off..???is it OK to keep spraying the easy start if it doesn't fire up.
    I suppose my next step is the tow start...??Anybody else had similar probs
