Ok so I love the fact we now have a progress thread and with the better weather slowly coming im sure we will all use this section more and more.

I have a Blue Veccy Estate 08 plate facelift.

So far i have done the airbox mod and also put on a cone filter. Put on blue silicone hoses and painted the engine cover and battery cover.

I have started to carbon wrap the chrome window strips all down the car and will finish when the weather holds out long enough. Also carbon wrapped the door pillars and certain areas inside (door handles etc)

Ive put in an xtrons dvd player as a temporary meausre until i save up for an alpine setup. Also have a mutant amp and a 12inch custom sub. Which will only be in the car at certain times of the year due to needing the boot space.

Got blue LED's goin on all over the place at the minute and in honesty lots of lil bits need tidying up.

Im hoping to get the car cleaned up nicely somepoint this week lol then ill get a load of pictures added onto the thread and then hopefully keep it reguarley updated as i go along.

Ok so today got a bit bored.

Wired the foot well and interior blue lights onto a switch and installed it in the cup holder. (forgot to take a pic of it lol)

Also wrapped my trims in carbon wrap and quite happ with the out come
And then got fed up with the crappy blue that was my battery cover so wrapped it aswell.

Although im not entirely sure im happy with it.

Have just been thinking to myself and think i might try and source a spare set of chrome headlights then try colour coding them havent seen this done before but think it may just be up my street

Little update and will eventually get more pictures at somepoint.
Was out on saturday doin a bit of tidying up. Bought Blue LED strips adn installed them in the footwells and wired them all up into the interior light so as they come on when the interior lights do. Must admit really happen with the turn out.
Although I did managed to snap the ribbon on my sunvisors lights (PLASMA aka Dean if you read this i may be coming to you for help :P ) However i think it was worth the sacrfice of my sunvisor light for the finished result :P

Also Move the mic from the head unit up into the centre consol thing on the roof (i think this is where the factory fitted one goes lol) But butchered the lead and it means the mic dont work so need a new mic and a longer lead on it loll. Not too fussed at the min as dont really use the blue tooth but would be nice to have.


This week/months plans (March)
At some point this week i hope to go out and hid the amp in the boot proably in the side wall bit (i have the estate and am looing something similiar to what ian_highlander has in his)

Also currently have a flick switch in the cupholder for my other interior blue led's gonna change that to a push button as not being able to close the cupholder is starting to annoy me.
Want to get a proper fitting kit for my dvd head unit as want to get it sitting as flush as possible.
Still got plenty of carbon wrap so gonna finish the chrome strips off and the interior trims which i havent got round to doing yet.
