Flat Battery - AGAIN!

Not used my Signum since Friday evening, went to go out today and the battery was flat. Flat to the extent i couldn't relock it.

My first worry would have been that it was an old battery and to buy a new one......

Except....

The battery that was in the car is off my Lotus Carlton. and is less than a year old, and it constantly conditioned. i.e. the cells are not dead.

Thankfully when I fitted the 72AMP battery out of the LC into the Signum, the battery out of the Siggy went on the conditioner and was recharged and given the all clear. Left off charge and I checked every couple of days for any voltage drop, which it didn't.

So now the original battery that was in the car when i purchased it, is back in the car.

I realise the Factory fit alarm is draining the battery, but in almost four days....

No interior lights/glove box light is on, so what could be draining the battery?

Just a free bump I am afraid! I think mine might be doing the same thing so am interested to find out the problem!

I've swapped the springs, and done a full service.

Other than that, nothing i'm aware of.

have you got a CD30?

Pioneer headunit, replaced the standard HU which was a CCR 2006 (tape with 4 disc CD changer)

ah ok mate.. in case you had one was going to give the info from TIS about a certain batch having a fault which nukes the battery..
