Is it worth putting a new back box or full exhaust on the 1.9 diesels?
Is there any noticible improvements?
Where is the best palce to go lookign for one? as i have never seen aftermarket performance exhausts for diesels?

I can't imagine you'd get much more performance from an exhaust on a diesel. I changed mine purely for cosmetic reasons (big poser) and had it all done at Powerflow for £250 +vat.
Full exhaust is always the way to go if its power you want the most restrictive part of modern systems is the catalyst do away with this and then put on a good after market system (or taylor-made) the choice is yours ......Of course you do have to make sure the engine can get more fuel and air in to start with so the panel filter and airbox mod or an induction kit should also be done at the same time then its time for a re-map or tuning box and a session on the rollers !!!HTH
Back in a V6 !!!!!!!!!!!! And lovin it !!!
Your car may well through a fit if you go for a straight through system Tim. I asked Vx before having the same as AJA put on and they said it would probably not run. Well it did run but it kept stoping. I put the centre box back in though keeping the twin rear exhausts with straight through scilencers and now it runs fine. No improvement in power though (wasn't any with the centre scilencer out either).
So you would be just as well if it's cosmetic, saving the cash and just getting centre scilencer back.
