Hi all
Just looking over my log book, and noticed my car is called:
"VECTRA SRI NAV CDTI 120"
Was just wondering why really?
As it doesnt have SAT NAV and it deffinately doesnt have 120 BHP!
Anyone know why?
Hi all

i would get it checked out m8
go to vauxhall with your reg and chassis number.
they will know what your car is.
then get the log book sorted.
I think you want to get your log book changed. I have come across errors before but not as different as yours!
What do VX have your car down as?
Does your insurance have the right details as sometimes they just use the reg?
If the insurers have the wrong car they might only pay for that car or worse case refuse to pay out as it wasn't insured(technically), but this is what insurers will do
Mine said Vectra SRI and it was an Elite, colour green, actually it was blue and they misplelt my surname. Just wrote to DVLA pointing out the errors of their way and they issued a new one with all the corrections.
If it says NAV then the insurance companys will think its got sat nav fitted, it may cost a wee bit more on the insurance.
On the flip side mine had sat nav fitted from the factory and it dosent mention it in the log book
Were did you but the car from??
I bought a car from Reg Vardy a few year ago. I ran it for a year and a half. went to renew the road tax and the woman said she could tax it as I was not insured.so after argueing a while I had taxed it twice before. turns out she was right they had put the wrong number plates on the car when I bought it. they put a J instead of a G on the number plates.
It's strange that these things happen when cars are registered for the the first time or vehicles ammended due to owner changes (engine, colour, etc...) these are entered manually by a Human! Then there is always room for error.
Easy fix as mentioned above and also mentioned aboe the Insurance company may not pay out for any claim due to the errors at the moment.
Need to get it sorted ASAP.
Bri.
